Semantic HTML landmarks throughout, a skip-to-content link for keyboard users, visible focus indicators on every interactive element, and full keyboard operability of the navigation and menus including Escape-to-dismiss.
The site honours the operating system "reduce motion" preference. When it is set, decorative animation is disabled site-wide and the decorative particle canvas is not loaded at all.
Content is authored to meet WCAG AA colour contrast, and page content does not depend on JavaScript to become visible.
Every pull request runs an automated accessibility scan. Critical and serious violations block the merge.
Some architecture and dataflow diagrams are decorative SVG and are marked as such for assistive technology; their information is repeated in adjacent text. We are progressively improving the text alternatives on complex diagrams.
Automated testing cannot catch everything. If you encounter a barrier we have missed, we want to hear about it.
If any part of this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, email us with the page address and what went wrong. We treat accessibility reports as defects and prioritise them accordingly.
